TRANENT LOSE AT SAUCHIE

Tranent lost their second league match of the season losing out to Sauchie 2-1. Tranent took the lead through a Mark Stevenson penalty only to lose two goal through defensive mistakes.

TRANENT BOW OUT OF LEAGUE CUP

Tranent failed in their bid to reach the semi-final of the league cup against Arniston Rangers going down 3-0. Tranent were forced to field a side missing 6 first team regulars and with keeper Sinclair Inglis being held up by traffic, the injured Mel Graham took over until he arrived, Tranent didnt cause many problems for their higther league opponents (report to follow)

TRANENT OVERCOME BONNYRIGG

Tranent had a superb win over Super League side Bonnyrigg Rose in their league cup section match after a goal-less first half, two goals within 2 minutes gave the Juniors the the points James McPartin and Mel Graham getting on the scoresheet. Tranent now need a point in their last section match against Arniston Rangers to proceed to the semi-finals.(report on reports page)














COMFORTABLE WIN OVER COUNTY RIVALS

Tranent were comfortable winners over county rivals Dunbar Utd managed by former Tranent manager Davie Lees goals from Mark Stevenson (2)pens and an O.G took the points for the juniors (report on reports page)













SIGNING NEWS

Tranent have signed Tadg Moriarty from Arniston Rangers and is straight into the pool for the Dunbar match, he is the latest addition to manager Brian Johnstons squad- in are Mark Ellis from Arniston, Michael Fairnie and Jordon Mack from Tranent jun 21s and Paul Dunlop from Calvery park 21s


FIGHTBACK COMPLETE

Tranent faced premier league side Penicuik Ath on Wednesday and were 2-0 down with 12mins to but goals from Steven Tait, Mel Graham and Ricky Miller completed the comeback 3-2














TRANENT LOSE TO 10 MAN MUSSELBURGH

After an good win in their league cup section Tranent went down to ten man burgh when Ex-Tranent fullback was redcarded for handling the ball on the goal-line, a below par were unable to breakdown their Super league opponents the finishing 2-1 to Musselburgh (see reports page)

TRANENT OFF TO WINNING START IN THE LEAGUE CUP

Tranent got off to a winning start to the season with a convincing 5-0 thumping of local rivals Haddington Ath at the Foresters, goals from Mark Stevenson Steven Tait Mel Graham and new signings Mark Ellis and Michael Fairnie took the points for the Juniors. Tranents next match is on Monday when they are at home to Musselburgh Ath.

Striker Mark Stevenson has settled his diffrences with the club and has requested to come off the transfer list.

VOLUNTEERS NEEDED

Tranent Juniors are on the lookout for anyone with a few hours free on a Saturday to help out with matchday duties. The club also have a super six draw every week could you sell a few tickets every week if you can contact any committiee member or come along on a Saturday.
